Daem was founded in 1977 in the Les Corts district of Barcelona by tax specialist Manuel Cornejo as a pioneering company in business consultancy services in Spain, offering a comprehensive range of services aimed at covering all the needs required for the efficient management of a business, including administrative management and outsourcing or BPO services in tax and fiscal matters, accounting, labour, and economic-financial areas.
From the outset, Daem has strongly committed to the latest technological tools, even employing its own team of developers and computer programmers during its early years. Today, the evolution and specialisation of technology have led Daem to form agreements with leading companies in the sector according to the speciality.
In 1996, as a result of the success of our services and the growth of our clients, Daem expanded its offices and moved to Numancia Street in Barcelona, where its headquarters are now located. Over the years, we have continued to enhance our service offering. To this end, we have strengthened our teams with specialists in strategic consultancy, human resources management, and transactions, allowing us to support our clients in all phases of the lifecycle of their businesses (from inception to sale or disposal).
We offer comprehensive coverage, becoming a point of reference for our clients also in internationalisation plans. We have numerous success stories across various sectors, notably in consumer products and services. Additionally, we have extensive experience with venture capital funds, Venture Capital, and Family Offices, both in providing administrative support and reporting services to their investees and in the search for investments themselves.

Manel began his professional career in 1975 in accounting and tax practice at a national consultancy, Proasa.
In April 1977, he founded DAEM together with another partner, offering business consultancy services.
He specialises in tax advice and management for companies and self-employed individuals, financial and accounting consultancy, and income tax returns.

Carles began in 2010 at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Barcelona, then joined Alana Partners in Madrid to manage an investment fund. In 2015, he worked at Monitor Deloitte in strategic consultancy specialising in mergers and acquisitions. In 2017, he joined DAEM as partner and head of consultancy and transactions.
He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Ramón Llull University, with a Master’s from Pennsylvania State University and is CFA certified. He is an expert in financial-economic advice and mergers and acquisitions.

Sergi began his professional career in 2009 at DAEM as an accountant.
In January 2010, he started combining his duties in the accounting department with support for the tax and corporate department.
In 2013, he joined the management team at DAEM as head of the accounting and corporate department.
Sergi holds diplomas in accounting, business studies, tax techniques, and tax consultancy.
He specialises in tax and corporate advice and financial consultancy for companies.

Jordi began his career in 1986 in accounting at a textile company in Barcelona. In 1987, he joined DAEM as an administrator and in 1992 moved to the tax department as deputy director. In 2000, he took on the role of co-director of tax and in 2015 headed the Tarragona branch.
He holds diplomas in accounting, business studies, and tax consultancy. He specialises in tax management for companies and self-employed individuals, tax consultations, audits, international taxation, inheritance, foundations, and corporate-tax procedures.
